Kyoya is very professional when it comes to his priorities. He is the type of person who thinks ahead before doing things impulsively. Being a man who takes responsibility of all his actions, he can usually be annoyingly assertive. With his determination and hardwork, he can easily achieve his desires. Because of this, he tends to think that others exist as pawns he can use to ascertain his success. Even though he seems to be selfish sometimes, it is proven that he is truly altruistic when it comes to people he care about.

He is also 100% confident about himself overall. For him what matters most is what he thinks that matters. 0_o weird...
Background:
Kyoya came from an affluent family. Their line of business expertise is medicine and is a domineering zaibatsu owner.
His family does not have strong ties aside from their professional rapport.
He has three older siblings a strict father and a mother. Since he is the youngest child, he carries the burden of a truckload full of expectations.
With their domineering father as the head, it is true that their future is already planned. However this doesn't stop him from working harder to lead his life to the direction he wants. But still, Kyoya respects his father a lot and very likely, looks up to him as well. maybe...
Kyoya: I know I CAN and I WILL surpass you, my older brothers! HA HA HA!!! ...just getting into the character...well he's not proably going to do that...but it's AU so he can. I guess...
